1st Treasure - [Voice]
[Patty isn't a stranger to waking up in peculiar places. In fact, she's awoken in places far stranger than this. The first thing she noticed was the nostalgic, salty smell of the sea. Then, the crash of waves that were rocking her little 'boat' back and forth. It was really quite calming. However, all dreams must come to an end and it wasn't long before she regained consciousness entirely to realize that she was in a bit of a pickle.
She was in a washtub. In the middle of an ocean. Wearing a plain white dress. ... Well, it could always be worse. Not quite noticing the book beside her just yet, she begins to speak.]
Oooh, my head... I know that when it's time to abandon ship and you're out of lifeboats, you should float along in a powder keg, but I've never heard of washtub boats before.
Ah, looks like I'm caught up the creek without a paddle. [Silence, then a little crackle in the microphone.] ...This book will do, ya know!
[What follows is a very loud splash, as Patty dunks the journal into the water to try and paddle her way to shore. This... may take a while.]

Very big, lots of ocean... Some arrogant jerk put us all in danger by releasing the Adephagos onto the world, but my friends and me have a plan to fix everything!
no subject
My world's mostly ocean too. I can never really imagine the worlds that don't have any ocean though, eh. Too strange.
no subject
... There's worlds out there that don't have oceans?
no subject
Aye, believe it or not. Desert worlds.... too weird.

So how long have you been here?
no subject
[Or a weird guy. Yeah.]
A little over a year actually.
no subject
Did you get used to this? This whole... being trapped inside a barrier like a fish in a barrel thing?

It's hard for me to hate being given a vacation and extra time to spend with him rather than the war I'd have to deal with back home.

Okay I think I spot you now. [Circles a few time to spiral downwards slowly and then perches carefully on the edge of the tub, before switching over to a hybrid form with talons, and one wing in case he needs to take off in a hurry, but otherwise human. The other hand he offers as a handshake to Patty.]
Miss Fleur.

Bird! Blue bird... man! Man bird!

Phoenix. Marco the phoenix.
Nice to meet you.
no subject
It's... nice to meet you too, Marco the Phoenix!

Now let's see if we can't get you back to land a bit more safely, eh?

[She's flown before, but that was with the aid of an enormous flying 'whale' who had a ship tied to it. She's not sure how she feels about flying without the kind of comfort the ship provided.]
no subject
I'm thinking I'll just try to bring this ridiculous thing to shore, eh? Besides it'd be littering otherwise and the mermaids and kraken deserve better.
Think you'll be safe holding on?
no subject
She peeks back up at Marco, smiling brightly. This plan sounds loads better than flying on the guy's back.]
Aye, I'll be fine! Take her away!
no subject
Bet this is something you can't say you've ever done before, eh.
no subject
You'd be surprised! But the tub is a nice spin on it, I'll admit!
