[It'd been another one of those mornings. One of those mornings where the house felt a little emptier. Patty'd hoped she wouldn't ever have to make one of these announcements, but there's no one left to take the burden off her shoulders, now. There's only her. ... Well, her and Alexei, but she can't exactly ask him to announce this.
When she opens the journal, she tries to make her voice sound as airy as possible. Of course, she doesn't entirely succeed. There's a kind of stuffiness to her tone that makes it seem as if she's got a bad cold.]
To everyone who knew her, Estelle's gone back home. There's a small ocean of library books in her room, so I guess I'll have to return those myself, ya know.

[Remorse...he has seen too much that losing a few people means nothing to him. He believed the end would justify the means. He's only disappointed that he could not achieve what he wanted, because of a very simple error. It was frustrating really, how he had it all worked out, was just one step away from reaching his goal, only to be stopped by a mistake of the past.]
You think too small and cannot see the big picture like I can. I believed in what I was trying to do would save the world as a whole, regardless of whether people believed how I was doing it was noble or not. Should I stop believing in that, then those who had sacrificed their lives for me would truly have died for nothing.

You had no right to experiment on others without asking and you had no right to try and change the world by yourself. Just because one person believes the sun is a giant torch in the sky, that doesn't mean it's true, ya know.

Who gave you the right, to rid the world of blastias and convert to a new unknown power source? It's quite a drastic change that I'm sure not everyone will agree with, especially when the barriers fail. And should your plans all backfire on you, and the new source of power doesn't hold up to everyone expectations...I can't imagine the chaos that would follow.
