6th Treasure - [Written]

[It'd happened again. Thanks to an experimental Shift, Patty had once again found herself missing most of her memories. Important memories. She'd forgotten who she was and, more importantly, she'd forgotten her friends. The ones who'd stood by her during her darkest hours. Now that the Shift's passed, she feels ashamed of herself and the house seems even emptier than it already did. Certain words keep drifting back to the surface.

"I was worried you would find yourself all alone without your memories, but you found good friends, Aifread."

Friends... Friends in whom she can confide. There's only one of those she can turn to right now.]

[Filtered to Little Loki]

Do you have time this afternoon? You could help me build a treehouse. I found the perfect tree. [She pauses her writing for a moment, thinking. Then she jots down one last sentence.] And I think we should talk.

[Public]

Treehouses exist in other worlds too, right? So tell me, what do you think makes the perfect treehouse? What does it need? What doesn't it need? What kind of wood makes the sturdiest boards? Rope swing, tire swing or normal swing?

I know I could! I'll just have to see if Toph and Korra can help. In my world, bending's how we control the elements. Earthbending is how you control earth - like rocks and the ground. We can change it into all kinds of different shapes.

Well most bending requires moving your hands or even your feet but without having to touch the earth! And I can definitely do tricks! Wanna see one?

Alright, then check this out!

[Now outside, Aang rests the journal against a rock and flips it to video. He then takes some step back so that Patty has a good view, and he assumes a rigid stance - doing some earthbending movements.

He makes a piece of rock rise from the ground and breaks pieces off until it takes on the form of a helmet that can fit on his head. He slips the helmet over his head - and parts of the helmet make it look like he has a goofy mustace and beard when put over his face.]

Ta-da!

[He pauses for a moment, grinning broadly and then does a little jig in place.]

I'm glad you enjoy it! But I'm sorry, I don't think that you can. Unless you were born with bending without knowing it, I don't know anyone from outside my world who's been able to learn bending.

Really? That's amazing! In that case, I could teach you the basics sometime if you want!

Wellll... Usually people know that they're benders when they bend! I don't know if there's any way to really find out other than that. [Maybe there's a chance that he could "read" people's energy through energy bending, but Aang was so uncertain and cautious about using that potentially dangerous ability.] I mean, I was airbending since I was a little, so I never really thought about how people knew. [It came to him as naturally as breathing itself.]

Sure! I can definitely do that. I'll show you the basics for each bending form, and we'll see how it goes.

Okay then! I guess you can just... follow my lead!

[With a quick switch to video, he starts off by with some airbending movements.]
