[It’s late afternoon of the 13th, and life in Vesperia house is returning to normal now that Estelle’s kidnapping side-effect has worn off. Patty has snuck into Yuri’s room with only the most innocent of intentions. That is, one of Yuri’s socks had ‘accidentally’ found its way into her laundry and she was only entering the room to bring it back. This certainly has nothing to do with a morbid curiosity of what Yuri’s room looks like after such a long time in Luceti. Nope.

Still, her motives don’t stop her from gazing around the room in amazement when she does enter. Everything looks exactly as she expected it to. It’s distinctly Yuri. With the sock dropped on his bed and her curiosity satisfied, she turns to leave the room again. That’s when she spots it. A picture of a familiar woman, her smile filled with more happiness than Patty’s used to seeing. In her lap is sitting… Well, there’s no question about it. That’s a young Krityan boy.

Overcome by surprise, even a small amount of shock, she opens her journal, puts up a hurried, flimsy filter and shouts into it.]

YUUURIIII! Why do you have a picture of Judy and a kid?! When did this happen? Why didn’t you tell us? [… Gasp!] Are you the father?!

[Estelle had indeed come to her senses, but... it's not been easy for her. The earlier experiment, being kidnapped shortly thereafter, practically reliving what had happened at the sword stair... it was a lot for Estelle and she has been keeping mostly to herself since.

However, when she hears Patty shouting, she quietly peeks in on the girl]

Patty? What's going on?

This! This! [She snatches the picture up and practically holds it in front of Estelle's nose.]

Yuri's been keeping dirty little secrets!

[Estelle blinks at the picture that's literally shoved in her face. Quietly she takes it from her and studies it for several silent minutes, just staring.

That's Judith, there's no doubt of that, but the boy in the picture... Definitely a Krityan, but... he looks so much like... And then she thinks back to when they had amnesia. Yuri had mentioned a son. She had thought that it was just one of those lies, since not everything on hers and Rita's card had been truths either. But... Was it true after all?]

[It takes those several minutes for Estelle to process this in her head. At some point she drops the picture, not even realizing she had, and looks visibly deflated.]

Yuri...

What do you think? [She picks the picture up from the ground again, peering at it some more.] I can't believe Judy was here and he didn't tell us! And a cute little boy like that! It's like one big happy family. A secret happy family! It just makes my blood boil, ya know.

[Estelle looks as if someone had just kicked her puppy, but Patty's angry words seem to snap her out of it a bit.]

Yuri is entitled to his privacy, Patty. I... I don't think this is something he would really want to talk about.

Why not? If I had a kid as cute as this one, I'd be telling everyone! 'Sides, he might not even be Yuri's. [She squints.] ... I think he's got the old man's nose, actually.

[Estelle shakes her head.]

Because he's not here, and neither is... is Judith.

During the experiment Yuri was... looking for his son. I haven't seen him. Have you?

A son, huh? [Patty's a little iffy on the details of the experiment- she was out of town for half of it. Still, there was amnesia at play, here. Who knows whether Yuri was looking for a real person or just a misunderstanding?]

Guess we'll find out when Yuri gets home.

[Estelle blinks at Patty.]

Huh? You're going to ask him about it?

Of course! Don't you think we deserve to know about this?

[She turns her gaze to the side.]

Well... I don't know. Are you sure this is a good idea?

[Do they deserve to know? No. Does she want to? Well, yes.]

I don't want to spend the rest of my time here wondering about whose kid that is. Do you?

[It'd be torment. The curiosity would end up driving her nuts.]

[she sighs again because she does want to know but... This doesn't really feel right. Maybe it would be better if she didn't know but she already knew enough and it would indeed bother her if she didn't know for sure.]

We'll force it out of Yuri and then we'll punish him for keeping secrets!

How is it cruel? We're his friends, ya know! And we're Judy's friends too. Remember what happened the last time those two kept secrets from us?

[This is different though isn't it? But she does have a point.]

[Patty finally puts the picture back where she found it, though she does it with a certain amount of care. She's pretty sure Yuri will kill her if it gets ripped.]

So! How about we go get something to eat while we wait?

[She smiles a little.]

Yes, I would like that.
